What is Panel?

Panelized home manufacturers pre-build all of the exterior/interior wall sections in a controlled environment and send them to your building site ready to be assembled.

 

The packages come complete with floor and roof systems, doors and windows, roofs and siding so that your building project is easily assembled to the 'weatherized' or 'locked up' phase of your project.

Once the 'shell' of the home is put up, subcontractors can move in to finish the interior work, such as electrical, plumbing, heating, drywall, cabinets etc.

Panelized homes are classified as a step above traditionally framed homes and in most cases can be built to lock-up 40% faster.

 

What is a 'panelized home'?

A panelized home is a pre-engineered structure where most parts of your new home are pre-built in a controlled environment, unaffected by weather. Unlike building on-site, challenges such as lack of materials and other obstacles are minimized within the factory production environment.

AllPro panelized homes should not be confused with modular or mobile homes. Panelization is actually considered to be one step above conventional "stick" framing.

 

About AllPro Panelized Walls

AllPro Building System panels are framed to exacting tolerances in an enclosed facility. State of the art technology, top of the line equipment, and stringent quality control measures ensure precision workmanship and a quality product superior to that of most traditionally framed homes constructed on site.

Panelized walls built by AllPro are generally 8 to 10 feet wide and easily handled on site. They can be lifted by a crew of 2 or 3 people - perfect for the owner builder. Our custom built panels will arrive on your job site numbered for quick assembly and accompanied by your home's customized construction manual.

Exterior Walls

AllPro standard exterior walls arrive pre-sheeted. They are constructed with premium grade 2" x 6" SPF (Spruce/Pine/Fir) lumber on 16" centres.

The walls come complete with framed openings for your windows and doors, ready for installation.

Interior Walls

AllPro standard interior walls are constructed with premium grade 2" x 4" SPF kiln dried studs on 16" centres - double plate on top and one at the bottom.

All interior partitions are panelized and supplied as a part of your materials package.
